Richmond's Great American Indian Exposition Pow-Wow has returned and is slated for Dec. 9-10 at the Richmond Raceway, 600 Laburnum Avenue.  Gates will open at 10 a.m. both days, and close at 7 p.m. Saturday and 6 p.m. Sunday.

The event will feature dancers, vendors selling American Indian jewelry and more, and food (including Indian tacos, buffalo stew, and Indian corn soup). Hands-on arts and crafts classes in beading/earrings, dreamcatcher-making, and corn husk doll-making will be available for a fee. Classes can be paid for at the gate or in advance.

Advance tickets for the event cost $12 for adults and $7 for children. A special entrance will be open for those that pay early. Parking is free. Pay in advance for event tickets or classes using Venmo (Venmo@Stacey-Richardson-76) or through cash app: $NativeOppWay2020. Checks are acceptable up to one week before the pow-wow; send checks to Barry Richardson, Pow-Wow, PO Box 609, Hollister, NC  27844.  Proof of payment must be presented at the gate. There will be no refunds.
