Graduation for ACE centers set for June 13 at VCU

Seniors graduating from the Advanced Career Education centers at Hermitage and Highland Springs will receive their diplomas June 13 during an evening ceremony at VCU’s Siegel Center, Henrico Schools officials announced this week. Information about ticket availability and distribution for the ceremony will be available closer to the event.

In past years, graduation exercises for students in Henrico County Public Schools’ career and technical education programs have been held on the school campuses and at the Richmond Raceway amphitheater.

The Academy at Virginia Randolph plans to hold its graduation exercises June 8 on the athletic field across from the school.

Ceremonies for HCPS’ nine comprehensive high schools will also be held at the Siegel Center, returning to the arena after a two-year stint at Richmond Raceway.

Seniors from Hermitage, Tucker and Glen Allen high schools will graduate June 14; those from Varina, Henrico and Highland Springs June 15; and those from Godwin, Freeman and Deep Run June 16.

All ceremonies will be livestreamed at www.henricoschools.us. Ceremonies also will be recorded and available for viewing later.
