Glen Allen Youth Sports seeks volunteers, sponsors for Southeast regional, World Series events

The Glen Allen Youth Athletic Association will host the Cal Ripken League 12-year-old M70 Southeast Regional tournament July 12-17 and the 13-year-old Babe Ruth League World Series Aug. 10-19 and is seeking volunteers and sponsors for both events.
The Southeast Regional tournament will feature about 12 teams from Virginia to Puerto Rico, all vying to advance to the 12-year-old World Series. The 13-year-old World Series will crown that age bracket’s national Babe Ruth League champion.
Volunteers are being sought to assist with the preparation and operation of the events – and the public is invited to attend the games to cheer, as well.
