Gas station shooting victim identified

Henrico Police have identified the 23-year-old man who was shot and killed at a gas station on Mechanicsville Turnpike Dec. 15.
The victim was Jamar Lewis Bryant, of Henrico. He was shot at about 10:10 p.m. at an Exxon station in the 2300 block of Mechanicsville Turnpike and pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the manner and cause of death. Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident.
