Table of Contents

The funeral arrangements for Henrico Police Officer Trey M. Sutton are set. The family of Sutton, who died following a crash on Wilkinson Road at Chamberlayne Road earlier this week, will hold a visitation Tuesday, April 5, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Victory Tabernacle Church, 11700 Genito Road in Midlothian. The viewing will be open to the public.

A memorial service will be held at Victory Tabernacle Church the following day, April 6, at 11 a.m.

Sutton will be interred following the funeral at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, 11302 Merchants Road in Hopewell. The internment will be open to the public, and carpooling to the cemetery will be encouraged because of the distance and limited parking on site.

The services will be streamed live online for the public to view, at the following links:

Additionally, the Henrico Police Foundation is now accepting and will distribute donations made on behalf of Sutton and Officer Petrohovich, the other officer in the car at the time of the crash,  who was badly injured.

Anyone interested in donating funds may do so by credit/debit card or PayPal through the HPF website or by sending a check to the Henrico Police Foundation, P.O. Box 3165, Glen Allen VA 23058. Donations may be designated for either or both officers by indicating the officer’s name in the memo line on the donation link on the website or on the check.

The foundation will ensure the officers’ families receive 100% of donations received on their behalf.
