Free COVID-19 testing events planned Sept. 30, Oct. 2 in Henrico

The Henrico County Health District is offering free community testing for COVID-19 at two events in the county in the coming week.
On Wednesday, Sept. 30, a free testing clinic will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Saint Paul’s Baptist Church at 4247 Creighton Road in Eastern Henrico.
On Friday, Oct. 2, drive-through testing will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Eastern Henrico Health Department, 1400 North Laburnum Avenue, in the parking lot. Only 20 tests are available, and registration is required by calling 205-3501.
To register for the Saint Paul’s event, call the same number.
Test results will be available within 3 to 5 days.
