Harrison Frazar won the Dominion Energy Charity Classic at The Country Club of Virginia's James River Course in Henrico County Oct. 22, sinking a 10-foot birdie putt on the 18th green to win a playoff against Richard Green.

The tournament is part of the PGA Tour Champions series for players 50 and older.

Frazar had a chance to win the tournament with a birdie putt on the 18th and final hole Sunday but settled for a par, tying him with Green at 11 under par after the conclusion of the tournament's scheduled 54 holes. That prompted a sudden-death playoff, which Frazar claimed on the same green. The win vaulted him from 33rd in the tour's standings to 13th, though he is mathematically eliminated from winning the season championship. Overall tour leader Steve Stricker, who skipped the event, is in command, with only five other golfers potentially able to catch him.
