Former Henrico middle school teacher faces 10 charges of alleged sexual acts with student

A former Hungary Creek Middle School teacher is facing 10 charges related to alleged sexual contact with a student.

Megan Pauline Jordan, 25, of Chesterfield County, faces eight charges of carnal knowledge of a minor and two charges of taking indecent liberties with a minor. The allegations stem from incidents that Henrico Police officials said are believed to have occurred during the 2022-23 school year.

Police were made aware of the allegations earlier this month "involving an adult acting in a custodial manner with a Henrico County student," they said in a statement. They began investigating and continue to do so, even after having arrested Jordan. She appeared in court June 30 and will remain in the custody of the Henrico County Sheriff's Office without bond.
