The Richmond Flying Squirrels will host their annual Halloween celebration, Squirrel-O-Ween, at The Diamond on Friday, Oct. 25, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The event, presented by AAA Mid-Atlantic and supported by the Drug Enforcement Administration, is free and open to the public.

Children are invited to trick-or-treat through the stadium concourse in a safe and fun environment. Hayrides will be available around The Diamond's warning track.

Attendees are encouraged to dress up for a chance to win prizes in various costume contests, including categories for "Squirrelliest," "Best Group," "Best Duo," "Scariest," and "Most Creative." A special "Dress like your Dog" contest, in partnership with Woofy Wellness Ranch, will offer K9 prizes for the winners. Costume contest winners will be announced at 8 p.m.

Event attendees also will have the chance to purchase individual tickets to the Squirrels' Opening Night (April 4) and Independence Day (July 4) games, at the ticket booths just outside the main entrance.

Fans also can enjoy photo opportunities with Nutzy and Nutasha. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the first-base concession stand.

Parking at The Diamond will be free for the event.
