FlixBus adds two overnight East Coast routes through Richmond region

Henrico travelers have new ways to reach New York City, Atlanta, Orlando and spots in between, with the launch of new overnight bus service from FlixBus. The company is adding two new lines between New York City and Atlanta and between New York and Orlando. Both will make stops in the Richmond region.

The New York City-Atlanta route will run three daily trips per day in each direction, with Atlanta-bound trips departing at 5:15 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., while New York City-bound trips will depart at 1:30 p.m., 4:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Connections along the way include the Richmond region, South Hill, Fredericksburg and Colonial Heights; Washington, D.C. and Baltimore; Anderson, Greenville, and Spartanburg, South Carolina; and Charlotte, Salisbury, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Durham and Raleigh, North Carolina;

The New York City-Orlando route will run five days per week (excluding Tuesdays and Wednesdays) with one trip in each direction on service days. Orlando-bound trips will depart New York at 6:15 p.m. and make stops in Baltimore and Washington D.C.; Fredericksburg, Richmond, Colonial Heights and South Hill; Raleigh, Fayetteville and Lumberton, North Carolina; Florence, South Carolina; Savannah and Brunswick, Georgia; and Jacksonville, Florida. New York City-bound trips will stop at the same spots but will depart from Orlando at 3:15 p.m. on service days.

FlixBus makes stops at four Richmond-area spots, including at the Parham Road Park and Ride, 8531 Fordson Road in Henrico.
