Fatherhood Foundation seeks nominees for 'Father Christmas' recognition

The Fatherhood Foundation of Virginia is searching for 25 deserving fathers in the Metro Richmond area to participate in their 10th annual Father Christmas event. The chosen fathers will be invited to a surprise event Dec. 19 at which they'll receive a visit from Santa, $500, and presents for their children.
Nominations are open until Nov. 15 and can be submitted through the Father Christmas website. To be eligible, nominees must live in the Central Virginia area, be at least 18 years old, and be facing financial or life hardship.
A committee of volunteers, donors, and board members will select the 25 recipients and notify the nominators by Nov. 22.
