Fairfield, Libbie Mill libraries to begin daily curbside pick-up May 11

Table of Contents

Two Henrico libraries will begin offering curbside contact-free pick-up Monday of items placed on hold.

Library officials are now accepting online and phone requests for books and other physical items to be placed on hold and then be picked up at the Libbie Mill or Fairfield libraries between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

If you have an existing hold, it has been "suspended," or paused, according to library officials, but you will not lose your place in line for any existing hold.

If you wish to pick up your hold from Libbie Mill or Fairfield, you can un-suspend it by logging into the library's catalog or by calling the Fairfield holds line at 501-1936 or the Libbie Mill holds line at 501-1948.

Tables placed curbside at Libbie Mill and Fairfield will allow customers to receive items while avoiding contact with library staff and others. Customers will receive an email notification when your hold is available, including directions about how to pick up your items.
