Entrust Financial Credit Union opts against merger

Entrust Financial Credit Union will not merge with California-based Christian Community Credit Union, Entrust's Board of Directors announced May 31.

The two organizations were considering merging for the past 18 months, but lengthy conversations failed to produce an agreement.

“Entrust is positioned to continue the work we have been given to do for our members and the community”, said Lisa Lambrecht, president and CEO of Entrust Financial Credit Union. “We remain steadfast to the higher purpose of all those that we meet by supporting their life’s calling and providing the financial solutions they need to help them fulfill it.”
