Elko MS Technology Association seeks contributions for TSA Technosphere trip

The Elko Middle School Technology Association is seeking contributions to help fund its participation in the TSA Technosphere competition, a four-day statewide STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) event that will take place next month in Hampton. It would be Elko’s first time participating in more than six years.
The group, which reecently won a regional Technology Student Association competition at Highland Springs High School, is seeking sponsors to help fund uniforms, travel, food and lodging for the students who participate in the event.
Checks may be made payable to Elko Middle School TSA and mailed to the school at 5901 Elko Road, Sandston VA, 23150.
The group has set a March 30 deadline to raise the necessary funds.
