The driver of a 1990 Cadillac that ran off the road at an exit on I-295 in Short Pump late Wednesday night died at the scene when the vehicle overturned and caught fire.
The victim ran off the road to the left at Exit 53B on I-295 northbound.
Virginia State Police officials are working to identify the victim and notify next of kin. The crash remains under investigation.
