Drive Shack to open Sept. 20

Drive Shack, a golf entertainment complex just across the Henrico line in Goochland adjacent to Route 288 near Short Pump, will hold its grand opening Sept. 20 at 9 a.m.

Drive Shack caters to golfers with 96 all-weather driving bays as well as virtual courses from around the world and Pro Practice technology, which reports on golfers’ swings measuring ball distance, spin and speed. Drive Shack Academy provides lessons and clinics with a PGA Pro instructor. For kids, the Summer Swing Academy offers five days of golf coaching. Guests can also compete at retro arcade games, watch sporting events on one of 300-plus TVs, and enjoy social leagues and live music nights.

The Drive Shack Richmond-Short Pump venue is located at 1647 Four Rings Drive in Goochland and will be open Sunday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. Pricing ranges from $25 to $45 per hour, based on time of day. For details, visit driveshack.com.
