Dorey Park to host USA Archery Target Nationals, US Open in 2020

Henrico's Dorey Park will host the 136th USA Archery Target Nationals and U.S. Open next August, the national organization announced last week.
The event is being held in Dublin, Ohio this year (as it was last year). It's also been held in Indiana and Alabama in recent years. In the past, it has attracted roughly 400 competitors and affiliated families and supporters, in addition to local spectators.
The event will take place Aug. 12-15.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming USA Archery and its fans to the Richmond region next year,” said J.C. Poma, Richmond Region Tourism sports development manager. “We’re excited to cheer on some of nation’s top archery athletes at Henrico County’s Dorey Park."
