Dorey Park Farmers Market opens Saturday

The Dorey Park Farmers Market will open for the season June 3 at 9 a.m. with a morning full of special events and family activities.
In addition to new and returning farmers and producers, local foods, produce, and handcrafted items, opening day will feature family fun that includes barrel train rides, a kids zone, and kids' activities at the POP (Power of Produce) Club from 9 a.m. to noon.
Music by Amity Duo and Mango Thieves will be featured from 9 to 11:30 a.m., and antique tractors and history exhibits will be on display. Community yoga will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., and the new Dorey Spray Park will be dedicated at 11:30 a.m.
The Dorey Park Farmers Market is located at 2999 Darbytown Road, and operates every Saturday, rain or shine, June through October from 9 a.m. to noon. SNAP EBT is accepted.
