Dominion Energy slow rolls to impact I-95 traffic in Henrico May 16-17

Dominion Energy has scheduled a series of slow rolls on Interstate 95 in Henrico County May 16-17 – during which police officers guide traffic at a slower pace – to facilitate electric wire-pulling work.
Drivers should expect delays in 15-minute windows with 30-minute lifts in between to allow normal traffic flow on I-95 north and south between Brook Road (mile marker 81) and Chamberlayne Avenue (mile marker 82) from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17.
Slow rolls also will be in place on Chamberlayne Avenue/Route 301 at the ramp to I-95 north during the same work hours.
The goal of the project is to replace the wires to meet current electrical and safety standards.
