Dog-friendly doings at Bark in the Park

Bark in the Park, a fundraiser for Henrico Humane Society, will be held Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Short Pump Park, 3329 Pump Road.The event is free to attend.
The main fundraising event, a 2k Dog Walk, will take place at 10:45 a.m., followed by additional activities for families and pets. Registration for the Bark in the Park Dog Walk is $15 for one adult or $20 for two, $5 for kids 6-12, and free for kids under 6 and pets.
