Diaper banks team up for 'Tiny Hineys’ in need

Community members are invited to mark National Diaper Need Awareness Week this September by hosting a “Virginia Tiny Hiney Hero Campaign” to support babies at risk for health issues and child abuse in their community.
Sponsored by Virginia Diaper Bank Network members, the “Virginia Tiny Hiney Heroes Challenge” will take place Sept. 21 through Sept. 27 with a statewide diaper drive and fundraiser. Individuals and groups are invited to participate by taking pictures of their Tiny Hiney Heroes in their hero costumes and posting on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts (hashtags: #diaperneed #VAtinyhineyhero #changefromthebottomup, #communitiesdoulaitbetter #strongertogether).
Last year, thousands of Virginia families benefited from the Virginia Diaper Bank Network of diaper banks statewide, and need has only increased during these turbulent times. As always, all diapers or dollars raised will help each local diaper bank address diaper need and its effects on infant health in their local communities.
