DECISION 2024: In-person absentee voting begins Sept. 20 in Henrico County

In-person absentee voting for the 2024 general election in Henrico will begin Friday, Sept. 20 at the Henrico Voter Registration and Elections offices at the Henrico Government Center and Eastern Government Center.

Absentee voting will be available for voters wanting to cast their ballots for the president, U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate. In-person voting will be available at the Henrico Government Center, 4301 East Parham Road, and Eastern Government Center, 3820 Nine Mile Road, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays from Sept. 20 to Nov. 1.

On the two Saturdays prior to Election Day, Oct. 26 and Nov. 2, the offices will open for in-person voting from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition, an early-voting location also will be open at the Varina Area Library from Oct. 21 to Nov. 2.

Voters can also return completed absentee ballots to drop boxes, which will be located at the two Voter Registration and Elections offices and at the Varina and Tuckahoe Area libraries and Deep Run Recreation Center. The drop boxes will be available starting on Sept. 20.

Polling sites will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 5.
