Cultural Arts Center, Henrico Theatre Company participating in MTI’s ‘All Together Now!’

The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen and Henrico Theatre Company will be joining thousands of theatrical organizations around the globe by producing their own local production of Music Theatre International’s All Together Now! Nov. 14-15 at 7 p.m. at CACGA.

Tickets are $10, with a suggested donation.

The performances will include hit songs such as Be Our Guest from Beauty and the Beast; Somewhere That’s Green from Little Shop of Horrors; Children Will Listen from Into the Woods; Take a Chance on Me from Mamma Mia!; Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat; from Guys and Dolls; and others.

Performers for the events include Kyle Billeter, Shannon Gibson Brown, Tara Callahan Carroll, Jenny Fralin, Kenny Holley, Jim Morgan, Dan Stackhouse and Tony Sharpenstein, with direction by Amy Perdue and music direction by David Clatterbuck.

“We are incredibly excited to celebrate the return of live theater with performances by HTC of MTI’s All Together Now!,” said K Alferio, president of The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. “The past year has been a challenging time for everyone, particularly arts organizations. We look forward to welcoming our patrons back with this truly wonderful revue.”

The musical revue is part of a national effort to raise recovery funds for local theaters. As of Aug. 2, more than 3,800 performances were scheduled at 1,600 schools and theatres from 36 countries and tributaries and all 50 states.
