CSX railroad repairs to begin Feb. 25 in Henrico

CSX will be performing railroad crossing repairs and maintenance at four Henrico locations beginning Feb. 25, as part of similar efforts throughout the region. Crossings that are the only access point to the area are expected to be addressed in one day. Weather and progress permitting, drivers can expect delays and should follow the posted local detours at the following locations:
In Henrico, work is planned:
• beginning Feb. 25 at the Poplar Springs Road crossing between Portugee Road and Charles City Road;
• beginning Feb. 26 at the Beulah Road crossing between Portugee Road and Charles City Road;
• beginning Feb. 27 at the Charles City Road crossing between Monahan Road and Airport Drive (the crossing will be closed for one week);
• beginning Feb. 27 at the Lewis Road crossing between Charles City Road and Nandun Road.
