Commonwealth Catholic Charities recently named Jason (Jay) Brown as its new chief executive officer. He began his new role Jan. 5, replacing Joanne Nattrass, who had led the organization for 12 years.

Brown has been employed at Commonwealth Catholic Charities since 2010 as the director of the Office of Justice and Peace and most recently as the division director of Housing Services. He has led the expansion of CCC's Housing Services during the past five years. After an extensive search, CCC's Board of Directors recommended Brown to Bishop Barry Knestout, who concurred with their choice of Brown to lead CCC in its current efforts and future growth.

“It is humbling to be chosen to serve Commonwealth Catholic Charities and the Diocese in this new capacity,” said Brown. “I am truly excited to continue to work with such talented colleagues here at CCC as we seek out and serve the most vulnerable members of our communities."
