Colortree seeks donations for 'Pack a Backpack'

Employees of Colortree Group will hold their annual “Pack a Backpack” event for the Sarah Dooley Center for Autism Aug. 15 at St. Joseph’s Villa in Henrico County. Assembly will begin at noon at Colortree, located at 8000 Villa Park Drive. The backpacks will be delivered to the Sarah Dooley School in time for school to begin.

The drop-off deadline is Aug. 14. The following list fills one student backpack:

• 2 composition books (marbled cover);
• 6 pocket folders in assorted colors;
• 6 single-subject spiral notebooks;
• 1 zippered pencil bag;
• 1 ruler;
• 12 No. 2 pencils;
• 6 black or blue ink pens;
• 2 red ink pens;
• 2 highlighters;
• 1 pencil sharpener;
• 2 block-style erasers or 6 pencil-top erasers;
• 1 pack 3x5 index cards;
• 3 packs of looseleaf paper (college rule);
• 2 1-inch binders;
• 1 pack subject dividers;
• 1 geometry set (protractor & compass);
• 1 calculator (4-function);
• toiletries (deodorant, shampoo and conditioner for African-American hair, body soap, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste).
