Chicago's Pizza With A Twist, a gourmet pizza parlor and sports bar, will open next month in the space where Big Al's Sports Bar & Grill operated near Innsbrook, 3641 Cox Road, Unit F.
Big Al's owner Al Coleman closed his restaurant Dec. 13 and sold the business and his equipment to the new owners.
Chicago's Pizza With A Twist is based on the West Coast and has more than 25 locations in California, Washington, New York and Virginia. It was founded in 2014 by Harpreet Dahyia, and the Henrico location will be its first franchised spot. The restaurant's menu includes a variety of traditional pizzas, as well as unique options featuring Indian and Latino influences.
The location will offer delivery throughout Innsbrook, Glen Allen and Short Pump. It will employ about 15 people and operate Monday through Thursday and Sunday, from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
