The railroad crossing on Charles City Road near South Laburnum Avenue will be closed beginning 7 a.m. Thursday, April 23 for emergency repairs.
Crews for CSX expect to reopen the section of road by 6 p.m. Friday, April 24.
A detour will direct motorists around the work zone by way of Eastport Boulevard and Laburnum.
