Cash for Coal Pit

Students from the Coal Pit Learning Center visited Sedona Taphouse in Glen Allen April 11 to thank restaurant owners and staff for their donation to the school generated by the recent “Steak-Out for Charity” fundraiser. Proceeds from Steak-Outs held on February Mondays netted $1,288 for Coal Pit, which has been educating preschoolers from low-income families in the Glen Allen community for more than 40 years.
