Carver Academy survives taut tilt with Middlesex 60-56

Thursday’s outing turned into an endurance test that Carver Academy passed in a 60-56 victory at Middlesex’s expense for a Virginia boys basketball victory on February 10.

The Wolverines broke in front at the beginning of the fourth quarter with a 43-42 lead over the Chargers.

There was no room for doubt as Carver Academy added to its advantage with a 17-14 margin in the closing period.
