CACGA announces winter/spring class schedule

Table of Contents

The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen has opened registration for its winter and spring classes.

Classes cover topics including culinary arts, fiber arts, visual and performance arts, among many others. CACGA keeps class sizes small, with generally no more than 15 students.

New offerings include Folkloric Belly Dancing, Mixed Media Collage and Watercolor, as well as a travel photography workshop, Beginner Knitting and others.

A complete list of offerings is available at www.artsglenallen.com

Happy Hour Art also returns with new monogram parties for attendees 21 and older. The classes include the creation of monogrammed door hanger/wall art. No artistic skills are needed. Students choose their own custom-made sign to paint any way they choose. Each monogrammed hanger is solid wood for indoor or outdoor use.

CACGA also offers private classes for groups with a minimum of 6 to 10 participants, in most cases.

"We are very proud of the breadth and depth of our instructional programs," said Arts Center President K Alferio.  "Whether you're eight or 80, a novice painter or an expert photographer, we've got something for you."
