Langley Federal Credit Union will open its new Short Pump branch at 11151 West Broad Street on Monday, Nov. 6. Langley will celebrate its grand opening with a week of giveaways, games and raffle prizes. Richmond International Airport will host its third annual P.O.W.E.R. Together Opportunities Forum at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on Wednesday, Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The forum is designed to raise awareness about contracting and procurement opportunities for small, women- and minority-owned businesses as well as disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs). The Capital Region Airport Commission, which owns and operates RIC, wants to help these groups secure more contracts in order to promote supplier diversity. The event will feature information sessions on construction and concession opportunities, panel discussions, and provide opportunities to network with professionals from the aviation industry.
