The Richmond Hokies' RVA Career Expo will be held virtually this year Tuesday, Oct. 13 through Friday, Oct. 16 online via Zoom. Two sessions will be available each day - 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. More than 50 companies (approximately 30 each day) are participating to recruit for full- and part-time jobs and internships in a wide variety of fields at all experience levels. There also will be business and educational opportunities. The event is free and open to the public; you do not need to be a Hokie to participate. FRONTIER Building has completed the new Valvoline Instant Oil Change Service Center located at 1400 North Parham Road in Henrico. The experience-focused national General Construction, Construction Management, and Design-Build contractor built a new ground-up structure on a 23,752 SF lot by Regency Mall. The 1,654 SF service center also includes 11 parking spaces for customers.

The Airport Business Association's monthly networking event will be held Wednesday, Oct. 21 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Four Points by Sheraton Richmond Airport, 4700 S. Laburnum Avenue. ABA promotes the development of professional relationships and business success. The event will be following Virginia's COVID-19's safety protocols and participants are encouraged to follow Virginia's Phase Three Guidelines. Accounting firm Keiter recently announced that Robert Darden Bell, III and Jonathan Scott Zickefoose have been prompted to partner, effective Oct. 1. Bell joined Keiter as an intern in December 2007. He assists clients primarily in the construction and real estate industries as well as early-stage companies across a variety of industries. He is involved with the Greater Richmond Associate for Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE), the Urban Land Institute and the Richmond Business Group. Zickefoose started his career with Keiter as an intern in June 2009 and developed his expertise in financial due diligence, consulting for mergers and acquisitions, transaction structuring, and emerging business and startups. He also holds CM&AA certification.
