Marc Austin Highfill

Marc Austin Highfill, owner of EXIT First Realty, recently took top honors during the EXIT Realty Corp. International annual awards event. Highfill received the Tri-Real-A-Thon Award in recognition of outstanding achievement in sales production, listings taken and helping to grow the company. Thousands of sales professionals vie for this award which is known as the “Ironman of Real Estate.” Highfill also was honored with the award for Top Gross Commission Income in North America; induction into the Million Dollar Circle for closing more than one million dollars in gross commission; and the Titanium Award for closing 120+ real estate transaction sides. In addition, his sales team known as “The Marc Austin Highfill Team” achieved the ranking of No. 5 in North America. All awards were tabulated for the production period of July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.


In an effort to promote the work of the more than 16,000 independent pharmacies across the country, Pharmacy Development Services has created the PDS Legacy Challenge and is inviting independent pharmacists to share their successes. Bremo Pharmacy in Henrico was recognized for their patient services, particularly their work on destigmatizing mental health. The pharmacy recently participated in the NAMIWalks Virginia event. For their efforts, Bremo Pharmacy received a monetary prize which they donated to NAMI Virginia (National Alliance for Mental Illness). The PDS Legacy Challenge runs through Feb. 8, 2021.

Douglas and Mac Wilson represented the landlord); Liberty Mutual Insurance Company – renewed its lease of 10,099 SF of office space at West Shore III, 301 Concourse Bouelvard (Amy J. Broderick and Mark E. Douglas represented the landlord); VA Institute of Pastoral Care, Inc. – renewed its lease of 4,447 SF of office space at Richmond Medical Park, 2000-2012 Bremo Road (James Ashby IV represented the landlord); and Legacy Builders Apprenticeship Academy – leased 3,800 SF of retail space at Brookhill Azalea, 5300 Chamberlayne Road (Annie O’Connor and James Ashby IV represented the landlord).


The Airport Business Association's monthly networking event will be held Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Four Points by Sheraton Richmond Airport, 4700 S. Laburnum Avenue. Colliers International Virginia, LLC recently announced the following lease transactions: Eppa Hunton PC – leased 906 SF at 8401 Patterson Avenue (Jimmy Martin and Megan Sullivan represented the landlord); and Property Investment Advisors Inc. – leased 3,256 SF at 7202 Glen Forest Drive (Megan Sullivan represented the landlord and David Wilkins represented the tenant).


Radio One Richmond will offer holiday assistance to families through its 17th Annual Toy Drive. Radio One Richmond and Clovia Lawrence will partner with Henrico Police, other area police departments, and local businesses to distribute toys to as many children as possible. Due to COVID-19 and the safety of its employees, iPower 92.1/104.1 (WCDX), KISS 105.7/99.3 (WKJS) and Praise 104.7 (WPZZ) will be accepting application forms online only from anyone that is in need of toy assistance for children 2-13 years of age.
