Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant CAVA opened its first Glen Allen location on Jan. 18 in the Creeks at Virginia Centre, 9964 Brook Road. The 2,880-square-foot restaurant serves fully-customized bowls and pitas, including three brand new chef-curated items launched in partnership with track gold medalist Gabby Thomas. Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer recently announced company-wide promotions. Alicia Brown, Bo McKown and Annie O’Connor have been promoted to senior vice president. Brown has been with Thalhimer since 2011 and is a member of Thalhimer’s Retail Services Group in Richmond. In her role, she supports both national and local retail tenants with their site selection process and lease negotiations. McKown is a member of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer’s Capital Markets Group in Thalhimer’s Richmond office and has nine years of Capital Markets experience across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. His main specialty is investment sales for income-producing industrial, flex, and office assets throughout the region. O’Connor specializes in tenant and landlord representation in the retail sector. She joined the Thalhimer Retail Group in Richmond in 2017. She currently represents local and national tenants and landlords in the Virginia markets. Additionally, Craig Douglas and Clay Willis have been promoted to senior associate. Douglas has been a member of Thalhimer’s Richmond Brokerage Team since 2021, specializing in industrial leasing and sales in the Richmond metro area. Willis focuses on retail leasing and sales in Hampton Roads and throughout Southeastern Virginia.
