4800 Thalbro LLC recently purchased 5.32 acres on Orville Road and Westmoreland Street in Henrico County from Cindy Briggs for $700,000. Carl Blackwell of Commonwealth Commercial Partners, LLC represented the purchaser.
Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer recently promoted Zac Price to vice president, Commercial Property Services. Price joined Thalhimer in September 2024 as associate director with more than 15 years of commercial real estate property and asset management experience. Price will lead the Virginia Beach and Newport News teams in his new role. He is also president-elect for the Richmond-region IREM chapter. Additionally, Sarah-Kate Shea has been promoted to assistant portfolio manager. Shea joined Thalhimer in July 2021 as a property management assistant, where she supported over five million square feet of commercial and association properties.
The Henrico County Sheriff's Office will hold a job fair on Tuesday, Jan. 21 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Henrico Public Safety Training Center, 7701 East Parham Road. There will be onsite interviews for immediate openings for deputies and jailors. Accepted applicants could begin the Basic Training Academy as soon as Feb. 10 (tentative start date). Those interested should bring their driver's license, social security card, birth certificate, and high school or college transcripts.
