Graham Stoneburner

The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors recently announced that Graham Stoneburner, a senior vice president with Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer, has been awarded the SIOR designation, a professional achievement for qualified commercial real estate practitioners with a strong transactional history in brokerage, fee-based services or executive management. To achieve the SIOR designation, Stoneburner was required to have consistently demonstrated professional ability, competency, ethical conduct and personal integrity; met stringent education requirements; completed at least five years of creditable experience in the highly specialized field of industrial and office real estate; and remained a top producer. During the past five years, Stoneburner has completed more than 460 transactions and assisted with the real estate needs of a variety of corporations. He currently leads the company’s Richmond industrial brokerage team.


Renee Pulliam

Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer recently announced that Renee Pulliam has been promoted to vice president – director of operations for residential property services. She joined Thalhimer’s Residential Property Services group in November 2019 and focused on developing residential property operating plans. Pulliam has more than 23 years of multi-family experience, including multi-property positions with Matrix Residential, Waverton Associates, and S. L. Nusbaum. She also has been actively involved in The Virginia Apartment Management Association for her entire career, most recently serving on the Board of Directors and the Legislative Committee. Pulliam works closely with the VAMA lobbying staff to monitor bills and regularly testifies before House and Senate committees on the legislative impacts to the multi-housing industry.


Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer recently announced the following lease transactions in Henrico County: Kids Empire – leased 16,155 SF of retail space at Broad Street Plaza, 9864-9900 West Broad Street (Connie Jordan Nielsen and Nicki Jassy represented the landlord); KBS, Inc. – leased 2,850 SF of industrial space at 2103-2119 Dabney Road (Craig Douglas and Graham Stoneburner represented the landlord).


Colliers International recently announced the following lease transactions in Henrico County: Bath & Body Works – renewed its lease of 3,002 SF at 4521-4527 South Laburnum Avenue (Peter Vick, Harrison Hall and Maddy Spear represented the landlord); Eirene Counseling – leased 1,083 SF at 8100 Three Chopt Road (Gray Bryant and John Carpin represented the landlord); Biofargo Inc. – leased 3,812 SF at 1716 East Parham Road (Rebecca Barricklow, Joe Marchetti and David Wilkins represented the landlord); General Dynamics Information Technology – renewed its lease of 5,444 SF at 1520-1530 East Parham Road (Rebecca Barricklow, Joe Marchetti and David Wilkins represented the landlord).


Taylor Long Properties recently announced the following lease transactions in Henrico County: Dream House Furniture LLC – leased 2,848 SF at Lexington Commons, 10180-10182 West Broad Street (Ellen Long and Rebecca von Meister represented the landlord); Hibachi Grill Modern Buffet – leased 13,000 SF at Laburnum Park, 4338 South Laburnum Avenue (Ellen Long and Robert Marshall represented the landlord).


The University of Richmond is included on the list of U.S. colleges and universities that produced the most Fulbright U.S. Students and Scholars for 2022–23. UR’s Fulbright Scholar recipients for 2022–23 include: Laura Browder, American Studies professor, who was named a Fulbright Distinguished Scholar in American Studies to study civil rights activism in Denmark; and Sylvia Gale, executive director of the Bonner Center for Civic Engagement, who received a highly competitive Mid-Career Professional Development Award from the Fulbright Finland Foundation to study civic engagement in Helsinki. It’s the fifth year in a row Richmond has been named a top producer of Fulbright students, with eight awards in 2022–23. University of Richmond students were awarded Fulbright grants to live, work, and study around the world, including in Colombia, Germany, India, Mexico, Morocco, and Spain. Richmond is among only 18 institutions to be honored in both categories and is one of only five primarily undergraduate institutions.
