The Learning Experience Glen Allen recently was named a recipient of the national company's "Center of Excellence" award. It was one of seven centers in Virginia to earn the award, which is given to the top 10 percent of The Learning Experience centers that have scored 95 percent or higher on annual evaluations. The Learning Experience is an early education center for children six weeks to six years old. The evaluations are performed by the company's Board of Directors and are based upon customer service, student retention, curriculum delivery, The Learning Experience branding, and overall performance.

The AAA-Four-Diamond-rated Hilton Richmond Hotel & Spa/Short Pump recently was recognized by Hilton Hotels & Resorts for its continued excellence. The hotel was awarded the “Make It Right” Highest SALT Score Award from Hilton for achieving the highest guest satisfaction in brand for both 2018 and 2016. The hotel also was awarded Outstanding Hotel of the Year multiple times by Shamin Hotels, and celebrated another milestone with its 14th consecutive Outstanding QA Rating from Hilton.
