Software development and managed services company APIvista, headquartered in Henrico County, has rebranded as Terazo. The new name and visual identity better represent the service offerings the company has grown to provide since its inception as an API-centric consulting firm in 2016. The company has grown from a staff of 10 to nearly 50 in the past year and is on track to hire at least 20 new employees across its offices. A second location, a regional office in Raleigh, North Carolina, will open May 1. The company consulted with Richmond branding firm Yogg on the visual identity, which features bold colors and employs tangrams to illustrate service offerings and concepts. Terazo is located at Paragon Place at Broad and Glenside.
Mike Dawson has joined Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer as senior project manager. In his new role, Dawson will be responsible for providing value-added tenant and landlord project services as well as additional capacity for project execution on the firm’s managed and owned portfolio throughout Southern Virginia and South Carolina. Dawson has more than a decade of experience in commercial construction and project management, working for the last five years with Carr Properties in Washington, D.C. as a senior construction manager. He is a graduate of Radford University.
Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer recently reported the following lease transactions: America Access Care of Richmond, LLC – renewed its lease of 8,222 SF in One Holland Place at 2235 Staples Mill Road; and Mid Atlantic Mechanical Repair, LLC – leased 2,730 SF in Staples Mill Business Center at 8209-8231 Hermitage Road.
Lindsey Downes recently joined Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer as a human resources generalist. She will be responsible for managing the tactical aspects of Thalhimer’s benefit plans for all business lines and office locations. She has more than seven years of experience in the associate benefits and education spaces and most recently was with Mercer benefit consultants and Sedgwick. She is a graduate of James Madison University.
