Pam Diemer, a sales associate with Long & Foster Real Estate, has been named the Richmond firm's top listing agent in the region for 2018. She is affiliated with Long & Foster’s Tuckahoe office in Henrico. A real estate professional for nearly 15 years, Diemer closed 23 listings in 2018 for more than $15 million and sold an additional 15 homes for more than $9 million. She received the honor at Long & Foster’s annual awards celebration, which was held at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts on Feb. 27. Long & Foster has more than 750 real estate agents in the Richmond region. The event was attended by more than 500 people.

Trusted Choice Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia will participate in the 2019 Walk for Wishes on April 27 at Stony Point Fashion Park. Henrico-based Make-a-Wish Greater Virginia already has granted 4,000 wishes to area children and IIAV hopes to increase that number through their participation. Last year, IIAV raised $14,000 in addition to an initial $7,500 sponsorship from their parent organization, Trusted Choice. This year, their initial sponsorship will be $10,000. According to Make-a-Wish Greater Virginia, the average wish costs approximately $10,000 to grant.
