Draper Aden Associates, an engineering, surveying and environmental services firm based in Henrico, recently hired Robert Mann, L.S. as survey division manager and David Ashley, L.S. as the Richmond team leader for the Survey Division. Mann has 34 years of civil engineering and land surveying expertise. In his new role, he leads the firm’s Survey Division in services related to scanning, surveying, mapping and subsurface utility engineering. Mann was previously the vice president of survey and a senior project manager at AES Consulting Engineers where he was a stockholder and member of the company’s Board of Directors. Ashley has more than 45 years of experience in surveying, land planning and development, and subsurface utility engineering. In his new role, he leads the Survey Division’s Richmond team. Ashley was previously a staff surveyor at SAM Companies (formerly SO-Deep) in Manassas Park, Va.
