The Henrico County Economic Development Authority recently selected Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer to provide commercial property management services for White Oak Technology Park Owners Association, Inc. in Sandston. The property encompasses 2,278 acres of land within White Oak Technology Park. The park is home to not only Facebook, but also Quality Technology Services, Bank of America, Lumber Liquidators Services, Polykon Manufacturing and ICON VA. Kelly Meehan of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer is the portfolio manager assigned to the property.

Jimmy Jenkins

Jimmy Jenkins, director of operations of the LongHorn Steakhouse locations in the Mid-Atlantic area, recently achieved Diamond Club status, a top honor at parent company Darden Restaurants. Jenkins was recognized for his commitment to quality, strong leadership and professional development of team members. He joins an elite group of three directors this year selected from more than 50 LongHorn Steakhouse regions in North America. Jenkins, a resident of Glen Allen, oversees eight restaurants in the Mid-Atlantic region.


Copper Mill Apartments, LLC recently sold its 192-unit Copper Mill Apartments in Henrico's West End to Hamilton Zanze. Built in 1987, Copper Mill Apartments consist of 12, two- and three-story garden apartment buildings and one leasing office/community building. The 158,568-square-foot property is a mix of one- and two-bedroom units that were 98 percent occupied at closing. Charles Wentworth and Peyton Cox of CBRE|Richmond and Jonathan M. Greenburg and Robert G. Dean III of the CBRE Group, Inc. office in Washington, D.C. represented the seller.


Katie J. Chalmers

Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer recently announced that Katie J. Chalmers had joined the firm as a project manager. She is a Miami University graduate and has more than six years of experience working in the construction and project management field. Prior to joining Thalhimer, Chalmers worked for Newmark Knight Frank in Washington D.C. as a project manager, where she managed tenant build-outs and was responsible for oversight on project-contracted services including architectural, engineering, IT/ AV, construction, signage, furniture procurement/installation, security and relocation.

Marshall Street; Black Heath Meadery – leased 4,400 SF at 2004 Dabney Road; Crown Trophy – renewed its lease of 3,659 SF in Wistar Center at 8101-8157 Staples Mill Road; Emerge – renewed its lease of 2,724 SF at 9000 Quioccasin Road; and Scout & Molly’s Boutique – leased 1,500 SF in River Road Shopping Center at 6201 River Road.
