Sedona Taphouse in Glen Allen will kick-off its week-long Treats for Troops candy drive Oct. 29 to benefit Soldiers’ Angels. Bags of wrapped candy donated through Nov. 5 will be distributed to deployed service members around the world and to veterans in VA Hospitals across the country. Soldiers’ Angels aims to collect 17,000 pounds of candy for troops and veterans in 2018. To learn more about the Treats for Troops program, visit https://soldiersangels.org/TreatsForTroops.html. Additionally, on Halloween (Oct. 31), all costumed kids will eat free. Each child will receive one complimentary meal from the Kids Menu during lunch or dinner. Manakin Farms Quioccasin LLC recently purchased a 6,324-square-foot building at 9000 Quioccasin Road (the former site of Caston Studio, situated on 0.70 acres) from Caston Properties, LLC for $1,125,000 as an investment and possible future development.
