Draper Aden Associates, an engineering, surveying and environmental services firm, recently moved its headquarters to 1030 Wilmer Avenue in Henrico County. Previously located on Villa Park Drive in Henrico, the new office increases the firm’s footprint by over 17,000 square feet – a move that highlights the firm’s growth in recent years. The new 43,858-square-foot office space features conference rooms with state-of-the-art video equipment, expanded breakrooms, numerous wellness rooms, materials testing facilities and outside social space as well. More than 160 employees are based in the Henrico office. DAA has eight additional offices in Virginia and North Carolina.


HHHunt has been named among the top 100 adoption-friendly workplaces in the United States and first within the real estate industry by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. This is the fourth consecutive year that HHHunt has been recognized for its adoption-friendly policies and benefits. Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces are determined by an analysis of financial assistance and paid leave for families who adopt, based on surveys completed by employers. The Best Adoption-Friendly Workplaces website (www.adoptionfriendlyworkplace.org) helps employers and job seekers compare adoption benefits at companies across the nation. The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption has compiled the annual list since 2007.

Bob Dalton

Bob Dalton, a sales associate with Long & Foster Real Estate’s Short Pump office, has earned the Christie’s International Real Estate Luxury Specialist designation. Dalton attended the Luxury Specialist Conference held at Christie’s flagship auction house at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.  More than 250 agents in the Christie’s International Real Estate network attended the two day event, which focused on luxury goods, fine and decorative art, as well as marketing and selling luxury real estate.


Commonwealth Commercial Partners, LLC recently reported the following real estate transactions:

  • GMB Treding purchased .3959 acres of land on Brook Road in Henrico County for $105,000. Sam Worley and Ryan Fanelli represented the Seller.
  • Golden Key, LLC purchased 2,286 SF office condo at 3741-D Westerre Parkway in Henrico County. Tucker Dowdy and Russell Wyatt represented the Seller.
  • Associated Scaffolding leased .239 acres at 2400 Anniston Street in Henrico County. Ben Bruni and Russell Wyatt represented the Tenant.
  • Branch Civil, Inc. leased 3,491 SF at 1001-1067 Technology Park Drive in Henrico County. Ben Bruni represented the Tenant.

HMI Technical Solutions, LLC recently leased 5,400 square feet in Interair Business Center at 5373-5375 Glen Alden Drive, Henrico County. Graham Stoneburner and Isaac DeRegibus of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled the lease negotiations on behalf of the landlord.

CBRE|Richmond recently promoted Elaine Weaver to project coordinator. Weaver joined CBRE|Richmond in April 2017 as a receptionist and now will be working for the Project Management group, assisting project managers with new and current projects.


CBRE|Richmond recently announced that Carter Wells joined the CBRE|Richmond Asset Services group as an operations analyst. Prior to joining CBRE|Richmond, Wells worked for CoStar as a research associate, helping with research and collecting information of commercial real estate properties. He holds a bachelor of science from James Madison University, and a master of science from George Mason University.


CBRE|Richmond recently announced that Robert Wood joined the CBRE|Richmond Asset Services group as an asset manager. Prior to joining CBRE|Richmond, Wood worked as the senior asset manager for a private equity firm focused on commercial real estate investments. He was responsible for the analyses of investment projects as well as the monitoring and reporting of funded projects. Wood holds a bachelor of arts in management economics from Hampden-Sydney College.
