Kristen Klein

CBRE|Richmond recently announced the promotion of Kristen Klein to associate real estate manager. Klein joined CBRE|Richmond in April 2017 and assisted in managing a 3.7-million square-foot portfolio consisting of retail, multifamily and office properties. She and other officials now will handle the Sullivan retail and office portfolio, located in Stafford and Fredericksburg.


At the 2018 FASTSIGNS Outside Sales Summit recently held in Arlington, Texas, Chris Howard of FASTSIGNS of Richmond - West End received the Gold Sales Award. The award recognizes sales employees who achieved sales of $700,000 to $999,999 during the 12-month period from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018. Only 16 outside sales professionals received the award, out of almost 700 independently owned and operated FASTSIGNS locations worldwide.


Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer recently completed the following lease transactions in Henrico County: Panera Bread – renewed its lease of 4,500 SF in East Parham Place at 8800 Staples Mill Road; Richmond Strikers Soccer – renewed its lease of 4,075 SF in Park I, Building B at 4202 Park Place Court; Elite Clubs National League, Inc. – renewed its lease of 3,809 SF in Park I, Building B at 4202 Park Place Court; and Cinnaholic – leased 1,080 SF in West Broad Village at 2270-B Old Brick Road.

Sherri Atkins

CBRE|Richmond recently announced the addition of two employees to its local team: Sherri Atkins, who joined the Lease Administration Group; and Kyle Otaman, who joined the Project Management Group. Atkins has more than 13 years of experience as a property manager, assistant manager and leasing consultant, working for companies such as Thalhimer, S.L. Nusbaum and R.C. Evans. Oatman joins the group as a senior operations administrator for the company's Government Specialty Group, which focuses on managing government properties throughout the United States. Oatman previously was an operational excellence technician for ABB and a fire control tech for the U.S. Navy stationed on the USS George H. W. Bush.


Tassia Kostopoulos, MD, board certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon, has joined the Skin Surgery Center of Virginia, whose main office is located in Henrico. Dr. Kostopoulos will offer skin cancer screenings, care and treatments, including Mohs micrographic surgery. Dr. Kostopoulos completed an additional year of specialized training in the competitive fellowship of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System under her esteemed mentors, Algin Garrett, MD and Christine Rausch, MD, who is also the founder and director of the Skin Surgery Center of Virginia. Dr. Kostopoulos graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida, where she obtained her bachelor of science in Nutritional Science. She earned a master’s degree in Biomedical Science from Florida Atlantic University. She moved to Richmond in 2009 to attend medical school at VCU School of Medicine.
