Taylor Long Properties recently completed the following lease transactions in Henrico County: Cost Plus, Inc. dba World Market – leased 18,300 SF at 11194 W. Broad Street for a value totaling $3,666,000 from Ruby Restaurant, Inc. (landlord); and Marco Tulio Tepaz Buc – leased 1,080 SF at 4380 S. Laburnum Avenue from Westover Apartments (landlord).


Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer recently completed the following lease transaction in Henrico County: Original Gravity, LLC – renewed its lease of 6,250 SF at 6118 Lakeside Ave.

Henrico-based HHHunt recently promoted seven members of its HHHunt Apartment Living team, which develops and manages apartment homes throughout Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. The following team members received promotions:

  • Lance Goss – Director of Operations: He oversees the financial and physical operations as well as the sales, marketing and leasing operations for over 8,000 HHHunt apartment homes. He joined HHHunt in 2002.
  • Gabrielle Bouknight – Assistant Director of Training and Development (a new position): She oversees various Employee Centered initiatives, leads an employee focus group and is a facilitator for HHHunt University, an orientation and training program for new HHHunt team members. She has been with HHHunt since 2007.

  • LaCole Gadson – Senior Regional Property Manager: She oversees Apartment Living Operations for all HHHunt’s apartment communities in North Carolina and South Carolina. She joined HHHunt in 2010.
  • Donna Gresh – Senior Regional Property Manager: She oversees Apartment Living Operations for HHHunt’s various Virginia apartment communities in Blacksburg, Roanoke, Lynchburg, Richmond, Fredericksburg, Stafford, and Manassas. She has been with HHHunt since 1990.
  • Melinda Dunford – Area Property Manager: She oversees Virginia apartment communities in Blacksburg and Glen Allen. She began her career in the multifamily industry in 1997.
  • Ashleigh Fisher – Area Property Manager: She oversees North Carolina apartment communities in Charlotte and Mooresville. She began her career in the multifamily industry in 2010.
  • Casey Viator – Area Property Manager: She oversees all apartment communities in Maryland. She began her career in the multifamily industry in 1997.

Surge Trampoline recently completed a 40,000 SF lease at Regency Mall. The business, which provides trampoline-themed parties and entertainment, will occupy the mall’s former Macy’s north building closest to other new tenants along Quioccasin Road including Starbucks, Chiplotle and MOD. Connie Jordan Nielsen, Nicki Jassy and Pam Strieffler of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled the lease negotiations on behalf of the landlord. Additionally, Panera Bread leased 4,500 SF in a Regency outparcel building for a drive-thru at the Holly Hill Entrance along Parham Road. Connie Jordan Nielsen represented both Panera and the landlord; Nicki Jassy and Pam Strieffler represented the landlord.
