Sheetz began its annual July charity campaign, Sheetz For The Kidz, July 1. Throughout the month, 100 percent of all customer donations will go directly to supporting local children, providing them with new toys, clothes and other basic needs during the holiday season. Customers can support the July campaign in the following ways: donate at a Sheetz check out; purchase a Sheetz For The Kidz water, with 25 cents from each bottle directed toward supporting the charity; purchase a two-pack of Sheetz For The Kidz Sugared Cookie, with 20 cents from each purchase supporting the charity; shop on AmazonSmile and select "Sheetz For The Kidz" as the charity of your choice, and Amazon will donate .5 percent of your purchases to the charity; or donate online at www.sheetzforthekidz.org. Visit the Sheetz at 7035 West Broad Street in Henrico throughout July to donate.


Trace Carson

Trace Carson, senior vice president of association management for association management company Organization Management Group Inc., has earned the Certified Association Executive distinction through the American Society for Association Executives. Carson, who works at OMG’s Lakeside Avenue office in Henrico, joins about 4,300 other industry leaders around the world who have attained the designation. OMG also has three other CAEs among its executives. Carson graduated from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce in 1988 and earned his MBA, with a concentration in marketing, from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1992. He founded association management company (AMC) Catapult Inc. in 2000, overseeing all aspects of client management from administration to strategic planning, and joined with OMG in 2016. Organization Management Group Inc. is based in Chesapeake.


Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer recently completed the following lease transaction in Henrico County: AKF Group, LLC – leased 2,792 SF in Innsbrook Centre at 4551 Cox Rd.


CBRE|Richmond represented Holland Park Associates, LP in its recent transaction with Anthem Health Plans of VA, Inc., one of the largest health benefit companies in Virginia. The company renewed its 130,523 square foot lease at Holland Tower in Henrico. Holland Tower is a six-story Class A office building built in 1990 located at 2221 Edward Holland Drive and owned by Robinson Development Group. With a full renovation in 2014, the 197,807 square foot building is located adjacent to a multi-million dollar urban mixed-use development and near Willow Lawn and Libbie Place Shopping Center. Additional tenants in the building include Lansing Building Products and Kinsale Insurance Company. Joe Marchetti and Rebecca Barricklow with CBRE|Richmond represented the landlord in the transaction. Savills Studley, Inc. represented the tenant.
