Shell’ey Ball recently joined Long & Foster Real Estate at its Tuckahoe Sales office in Henrico. Ball is participating in Long & Foster’s Success Path program, which offers training and resources for agents at any stage of their career. Weichert, Realtors - Baron & Snipes, Co. in Glen Allen recently announced that Realtor Elizabeth Pena has joined its office. Pena is a resident of Chesterfield County.


A $5,000 grant to Family Lifeline from the charitable arm of Dominion Energy will provide a foundation for school readiness and better health in the homes of local families with young children. Funds from the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation will support the nonprofit’s Early Childhood Development Initiative, which helps families connect with medical and dental caregivers for preventative care instead of using the emergency room as a primary source of care for their children. The nonprofit’s goal is to make sure that children are healthy, safe and ready to succeed in school, the workforce and life. Family Lifeline’s service area includes the cities of Richmond and Petersburg, along with Hanover, Henrico and Dinwiddie counties and parts of Chesterfield County. Jonathan Koes

Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer recently announced that Jonathan Koes has joined the local office as research manager. He will be responsible for leading Thalhimer’s research efforts across their platform. Koes is a 2014 graduate of the University of Virginia with a degree in urban planning and minor in architecture. He also holds a master's in commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce. He recently returned to Central Virginia after three years in Denver, where he worked with a commercial real estate technology firm.

The public information and education campaign targeting 21- to 35-year old males encourages people to choose a sober driver and buckle up. "Who’s Your Driver" has renewed its partnership with Richmond Raceway as the presenting sponsor for the fall race weekend Sept. 21-22, featuring the Federated Auto Parts 400 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race and the Go Bowling 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race. Additionally, Who’s Your Driver will return as the presenting sponsor of Racing Virginia, a collaboration among Virginia’s motorsports venues. Fans who take the pledge to choose a sober driver will be entered for a VIP experience during Richmond’s Fall Race Weekend. Ying Wang has joined Glen Allen-based LeClairRyan as a partner on the firm’s banking, finance and real estate teams. She is resident in the national law firm’s New York office. Wang’s practice focuses on helping clients navigate legal issues associated with international and domestic banking, finance and capital markets. She has extensive experience in banking and finance transactions involving complex cross-border elements. Wang assists financial institutions, commodity trading firms and commercial end users on negotiations and documentation of ISDA master agreements, securities lending, master repurchase agreements, collateral and other credit support documents. She has extensive experience advising international financial institutions on various banking agency regulations, including Dodd-Frank Act implementations.
