uBreakiFix opened at 1090 Virginia Center Pkwy, Ste. 107, in Glen Allen March 1. The fast-growing technology repair brand provides same-day repair service of all electronics, specializing in cell phone repair and computer repair at its more than 365 locations across North America. This is the brand’s first location in the greater Richmond area, joining 11 other locations throughout the state. uBreakiFix Glen Allen is the first location for local owner Chuck Allen, who plans to open four additional stores throughout the area over the next 18 months. uBreakiFix was founded in 2009 by millennial duo David Reiff and Justin Wetherill, a 2017 Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree. HHHunt, a diversified regional leader in real estate development, building and management, was named Developer of the Year and Builder of the Year (over 150 homes) at the Home Building Association of Richmond’s Major Achievements in Marketing Excellence (MAME) Awards. This marks the third time in four years that HHHunt has won both the Developer of the Year and Builder of the Year awards. HHHunt was honored on March 1 at an awards gala at The Jefferson Hotel.


Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer recently announced Thalhimer Gives, a new company initiative focused on increasing community involvement and charitable giving.  Through Thalhimer Gives, associates have the opportunity to actively engage in the community by donating financially, providing much-needed supplies, and giving generously of their time to local organizations.  Throughout 2018, Thalhimer will partner with six different organizations, nominated by the company’s associates, for a period of two month’s each. For the months of January and February, the Thalhimer Gives partner organization was Noah’s Children, a part of Bon Secours Richmond Health System and Central Virginia’s only pediatric palliative care program. Thalhimer associates are able to wear jeans every Friday by making a $5 donation to the Thalhimer Gives partner organization. Associates raised $1,574 for Noah’s Children through “Friday Jeans” and the company contributed a $1,000 match for a total donation of $2,574 to Noah’s Children. Thalhimer associates also donated hundreds of items to Noah’s Children families including play dough, nail polish, books, movies, puzzles, snacks and toiletries through a supply drive. In addition, Thalhimer partnered with Noah’s Children for three volunteer opportunities and provided associates paid time off to give back.
