Charlottesville-based Commonwealth Senior Living held its annual awards program earlier this year, and Reuben Canty (pictured, second from left), executive director at Commonwealth Senior Living at the West End, was named executive director of the year.


D1 Moving, LLC recently purchased a 52,500-square-foot warehouse facility situated on 5.66 acres at 3215 Williamsburg Road in Henrico from Tailored Brands for $2.2 million and will use the building for D1 Moving. Dawn F. Griggs, SIOR of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled the sale negotiations on behalf of the seller.


Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer recently reported the following lease transactions in Henrico County: Network Building & Consulting, LLC – leased 15,772 square feet of office space at East Shore II at 120 Eastshore Drive; McDonald, Sutton & Duvall – renewed its lease of 3,275 square feet of office space at Vistas II at 5516 Falmouth Street; Starbucks Corporation – leased 2,490 square feet of retail space at Libbie Mill—Midtown at 2363 Roux Street; The Motley Law Firm, PLC – leased 2,150 square feet of office space at Koger Building at 8001 Franklin Farms Drive; and Mainsail Wealth Advisors, LLC – leased 1,360 square feet of office space in Innsbrook Corporate Center at Rowe Plaza at 4510 Cox Road.


Millspring Commons Apartments, LLC recently purchased Laurel Park Shopping Center from JD Properties I, Limited Partnership LLC for $1.5 million. Brian Glass of Taylor Long Properties represented the seller.
